Greener Jobs

When I first thought of Greener Milwaukee, I was living in New York City. You would think I wasn’t, but alas I was… and, I missed my home state. So after many 5am subway rides back from Manhattan after a day of work and a night of carousing, I decided i wanted to ride my bike and help bring Milwaukee what it so desperately needed. A re-branding and revitalized community spirit…
So after a few months of re-aclimating to beer, brats, and ball games I said, “Enough – this city needs another cause!”
And Greener Milwaukee was born.
It’s been a shoe-string struggle using social media as the main lure of gravity, however after some initial interest and a snowballed birth -Greener Milwaukee has grown to the next level of community assistance. Jobs.
This week (today really) marks the first push to get Greener Jobs out into the world and for the benefit of all. As iHeart is founded on the principals of “people, planet, and profit” “Greener Jobs” seems like a natural next step for the nearly 350 member strong, “Greener Milwaukee.”
I’ll keep it local to start and want it to organic in scope. That means we’re going to start simple, and start here. In Milwaukee.
Please sign up for Greener Jobs on Linkedin and/or Facebook to get started, there is plenty more a’growing and a’coming soon.
Heart,
Ryan

iHeartCompany, LLC was founded in America’s Heartland as a social enterprise. The company operates unlike most corporate entities in that it has and will always operate ethically on three core principals commonly known as the triple bottom line.
The triple bottom line (”TBL“, “3BL“, or “people, planet, profit“) promotes an expanded spectrum of values and criteria for measuring organizational (and societal) success: economic, ecological and social. In other words, it does right by those values and iHeart brings them together with passion. iHeart promotes this love of company, people, business, earth, and all that is good on it.
In some ways, iHeart is an extension of the best part of my human spirit, my best ideas, thinking and everything iBelieve to be right and truthful in the universe.
While iMyself am not perfect by any means, iThink us humans can create something that lasts as an example and symbol far beyond any individual. iHeart Company is the pursuit of that perfection using a conscious system of sharing. May we open up our hearts and minds to improving everything we touch.
Heart,
Ryan
